You have to see the adorable Campbell’s soup ad featuring two gay dads and their little boy. The commercial is called The Galaxy’s Best Dads.
Larry Sullivan, David Monahan and their adorable son, Cooper, are among the many real-life families featured in a new, heartfelt Campbell’s Soup campaign. These two men have been together for over a decade and are professional actors.
The campaign is called “Made for Real, Real Life” and emphasizes Campbell’s efforts to produce “real food that matters for life’s moments”. In the clip, the men take turns feeding Cooper spoonfuls of Campbell’s Star Wars soup and reciting a famous line from the film.
The concept behind the campaign is to show how Campbell’s products “fit into people’s hectic everyday lives in an authentic, humorous and relatable way,” according to Yin Woon Rani, Campbell’s vice president of marketing activation. “We wanted to show actual families, which means families of different configurations, cultures, races and life choices,” Rani continued. “The American family is changing faster than at any time in recent history and it is now a true mosaic of shapes and sizes, all bonded through love, and love of good food.”
